Indian benchmark indices started the day in green on Monday mirroring positive cues from the global peers.

Britannia Industries, ONGC, Power Grid Corp, Apollo Hospitals and Hindalco Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were M&M, Titan Company, Eicher Motors, ITC and SBI

At 9:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 57694.03 up by 166.93 points or by 0.29 % and then NSE Nifty was at 16937 down by -8.05 points or by -0.05 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 57745.81 and intraday low of 57415.02 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 16991.1 and intraday low of 16918.55

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 225.00,+1.15%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 2187.15,+1.11%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 103.20,+1.03%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 7467.05,+0.89%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 5695.30,+0.79%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1142.80,-0.64%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 837.00,-0.42%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2471.00,-0.38%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 2486.95,-0.24%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 850.15,-0.22%), among others.
