Domestic markets pared some early gains in Wednesday's trade and were off the day's highs but continued to trade in green.

Among individual stocks, shares of Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) gained 2 per cent, after the company said its promoter, Suzuki Motor Corporation, has bought over 3 lakh shares of the company, worth about Rs 300 crore, via open market

At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 58047.81 up by 147.62 points or by 0.25 % and then NSE Nifty was at 17092.5 up by 49.2 points or by 0.29 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 58473.63 and intraday low of 57983.66 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 17211.35 and intraday low of 17077.8

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2841.00,+3.45%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 108.70,+2.11%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 2399.30,+1.81%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1677.15,+1.79%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 2180.40,+1.69%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2411.25,-1.35%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 18019.20,-1.35%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 763.50,-1.08%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 827.70,-0.61%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1058.90,-0.47%), among others.
