Indian benchmark indices recouped most of the losses during the late noon trading session amid selective buying.
Among individual stocks, shares of Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) surged up to 3 per cent after the Ministry of Defence signed contracts worth of Rs 9,900 crore with these companies for procurement of 70 HTT-40 basic trainer aircraft & three cadet training ships respectively.
At 14:38 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 60167.58 down by -56.88 points or by -0.09 % and then NSE Nifty was at 17714.25 up by 2.8 points or by 0.02 %.
