Gopal Vittal elected as Chairman of GSMA Board

Bharti Airtel's Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Gopal Vittal, has been elected as the new Chairman of the GSMA Board of Directors, as announced on Monday.

Currently serving as the acting Chair of the GSMA Board, Vittal will now officially lead the industry body, providing strategic direction. He becomes the second Indian to hold this prestigious position, following Sunil Bharti Mittal.
