Jindal India Renewable Energy secures LoA for 300 MW Solar Plus Storage Project from NHPC

Jindal India Renewable Energy announced on Monday that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from state-owned NHPC for a 300 MW solar plus storage project.

The project will be developed on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis and is scheduled for completion within 24 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the company stated.

This initiative is part of NHPC’s 1200 MW inter-state transmission system-connected solar power projects tender, which includes 600 MW/1200 MW energy storage systems.
