Mistral Solutions Private Ltd, a subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies Limited, has unveiled the DCP1000 Module, a compact and user-friendly Radar Data Capture and Playback solution designed for real-time mmWave Radar data streaming and playback. Developed using the award-winning low-power Lattice Nexus™ FPGA platform, the module offers high-speed, low-latency data capture with Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) playback functionality. Early samples of the DCP1000 Module are now available for purchase.
The DCP1000 is engineered to capture raw ADC data from Texas Instruments’ mmWave radar modules over LVDS, facilitating seamless real-time data processing. It efficiently streams converted data to a host PC via 1Gbps Ethernet, ensuring robust performance for applications in autonomous systems, industrial automation, and advanced sensing technologies. Additionally, the module's 8-bit DMM/Trace interface supports HIL playback, simplifying radar data processing, calibration, and testing.
Featuring a QT-based graphical user interface (GUI) for host PC configuration, the DCP1000 allows users to easily capture and visualize radar data. It also integrates with Texas Instruments’ mmWave Studio for raw data capture and post-processing. With up to 100K logic cells, 2GB LPDDR4 memory, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, the module delivers optimal performance for demanding radar development workflows.
Muralikrishnan D, CEO of Mistral Solutions, emphasized the module’s significance in accelerating radar-based application development. “The DCP1000 is a game-changer for mmWave radar system developers. With its real-time data capture, playback capabilities, and seamless integration with TI’s platforms, it significantly streamlines the development and validation of radar technologies,” he said.
Jerry Xu, President of APAC at Lattice Semiconductor, highlighted their commitment to advancing industrial automation through innovative FPGA solutions. “We are excited to collaborate with Mistral Solutions to enhance real-time radar data processing and module integration, driving innovation for our customers.”
The DCP1000 Module is available at $649 and can be ordered through the Mistral Webstore, with an official lead time of 6 to 7 weeks.
