Sensex, Nifty flat; Realty, PSU stocks weigh

Stock markets remained highly volatile as investors reacted to escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, fluctuations in crude oil prices, and the approaching deadline for the implementation of former U.S. President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs.

At 14:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81434.79 down by -9.87 points or by -0.01 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24804.7 down by -7.35 points or by -0.03 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81583.94 and intraday low of 81191.04 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24863.1 and intraday low of 24738.1

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3101.50,+2.01%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3511.10,+1.10%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3626.50,+0.74%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2148.50,+0.71%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 673.90,+0.57%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1338.90,-2.44%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 901.55,-1.88%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 837.50,-1.54%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1688.35,-1.31%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2316.00,-0.98%), among others.

Auto index was at 52547.51 up by 273.53 points or by 0.52%. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3100.00,+1.96%), Eicher Motors Ltd. (Rs. 5492.70,+1.86%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (Rs. 4388.75,+0.72%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 673.85,+0.56%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12801.95,+0.47%),.

Realty index was at 7710.85 down by -117.75 points or by -1.5%. Brigade Enterprises Ltd. (Rs. 1131.90,-3.32%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2382.00,-3.18%), Phoenix Mills Ltd. (Rs. 1568.95,-2.29%), Anant Raj Ltd. (Rs. 515.75,-2.18%), Sobha Ltd. (Rs. 1531.60,-1.55%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4262 , shares advanced were 1015 while 3074 shares declined and 173 were unchanged.
