RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) for a significant smart warehousing project valued at Rs 96.99 crore (inclusive of taxes). The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The contract, awarded through Government e-Marketplace (GeM) under Bid No. GEM/2023/B/4362309 and Contract No. GEMC511687706810445, dated May 9, 2024, pertains to the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of smart warehousing elements across 226 foodgrain warehouses.
The work order (LOA No. CWC/CO/TC/96687/24-25/11) was officially issued on July 7, 2025, at 3:30 PM. The project is slated for completion by July 6, 2030.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and there is no related party involvement or promoter group interest in the awarding organization.
