Copper prices fell by 0.32% to Rs 902.50 per kilogram in futures trade on Thursday, as traders trimmed their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery declined by Rs 2.90 to Rs 902.50 per kg, with a trading volume of 8,557 lots.
Analysts said the dip in prices was largely due to reduced participation and lower demand from the physical market.
