Silver prices gained Rs 471 to Rs 1,06,763 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday, as traders increased their bets amid improved market sentiment.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery rose Rs 471 or 0.44%, with a business turnover of 16,331 lots.
According to analysts, the rise in prices was driven by fresh positions built up by participants anticipating stronger demand.
