Aluminium prices rose 40 paise to Rs 249.20 per kilogram in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators built fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery gained 0.16%, trading at Rs 249.20 per kg with a turnover of 4,302 lots.
