Silver prices edged up by Rs 287 to Rs 1,06,684 per kilogram in Monday’s futures trade as traders increased their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery rose by Rs 287 or 0.27% to Rs 1,06,684 per kg, with a business volume of 15,249 lots.
Analysts attributed the price rise to fresh build-up of positions by market participants.
