Copper prices declined by 0.21% to Rs 891.10 per kilogram on Monday in futures trade, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery dropped Rs 1.85 or 0.21% to Rs 891.10 per kg, with a business turnover of 7,819 lots.
Analysts attributed the price drop to reduced participation and weak market sentiment.
