Aluminium prices rose by 35 paise to Rs 246.80 per kilogram on Thursday in futures trading, as traders created fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for July delivery gained 0.14% or 35 paise to reach Rs 246.80 per kg, with a total of 3,986 lots traded.
Analysts attributed the uptick in prices to renewed buying interest from traders, supported by steady demand from key consuming industries.
