Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, has partnered with the Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA) to launch Supportive Mind, a mobile app aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and support across Australia and New Zealand.
Developed by Infosys for MHFA, the Supportive Mind app is designed to provide communities and mental health first aiders with easy access to real-time resources that support mental well-being. This initiative is part of Infosys’ broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to use technology to drive positive societal impact.
The app is tailored to meet the needs of individuals managing hectic schedules due to work, education, or personal responsibilities. It offers a comprehensive suite of features including mood tracking and insights, personalized activity suggestions, walking challenges, fundraising campaigns, self-care tools, and wellness tips delivered through push notifications.
Initially, the app will be rolled out through pilot programs in educational institutions, corporate environments, and community sectors. Built using Infosys’ advanced AI platform, Infosys Topaz—which leverages generative AI technologies—the app will also track usage and impact metrics to assess its effectiveness in promoting mental health.
Professor Melissa Green, Chairperson of MHFA, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are excited to introduce Supportive Mind in partnership with Infosys. This app reflects our shared commitment to promoting both physical and mental well-being through innovative, user-friendly solutions.”
Andrew Groth, Executive Vice President – Asia Pacific, Infosys, added: “At Infosys, we aim to amplify human potential and create inclusive communities. Mental health awareness is a vital part of that mission. This collaboration demonstrates how technology can be used to provide accessible mental health support and foster well-being across diverse populations. We look forward to seeing the positive impact Supportive Mind will have.”
The initiative reinforces Infosys' mission to drive meaningful change through technology, empowering individuals and communities to lead healthier, more balanced lives.
