Copper prices slipped by 0.23% to Rs 885.90 per kg in futures trade on Tuesday, as traders trimmed their positions due to subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery declined by Rs 2 to Rs 885.90 per kg, with a turnover of 6,003 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in prices to reduced interest from market participants, reflecting weak buying sentiment.
