Zinc prices declined by 0.39% to Rs 254.70 per kg in futures trading on Tuesday, as traders pared down their positions amid weak cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for July delivery dropped by Rs 1 to Rs 254.70 per kg, with 2,775 lots traded.
According to analysts, the decline was primarily driven by reduced demand from consuming industries in the physical market, prompting participants to cut their exposure.
