Copper prices fell by 0.48% to Rs 880 per kilogram on Friday in the futures market, as participants trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery declined by Rs 4.25 to Rs 880 per kg, with a trading volume of 4,999 lots.
Analysts said the decline was primarily due to reduced speculative interest, driven by weaker demand conditions.
