Aluminium prices slipped by 95 paise to Rs 245.90 per kilogram on Friday in the futures market, as traders reduced their positions amid a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for July delivery dropped by 95 paise, or 0.38%, to Rs 245.90 per kg, with a volume of 2,318 lots.
According to analysts, the decline in prices was primarily driven by reduced demand from key consuming industries, prompting participants to cut down their positions.
