Aluminium prices declined by 35 paise to Rs 247 per kilogram in Thursday's futures trade, as traders reduced their positions amid a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery dropped by 0.14%, or 35 paise, to Rs 247 per kg, with a total of 2,471 lots traded.
According to analysts, the price dip was largely driven by reduced buying interest from key consuming industries, leading to weaker demand expectations.
