HBL Engineering Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from South Central Railway for the upgradation of its Kavach Automatic Train Protection system from Version 3.2 to Version 4.0. The project will cover the Mudkhed (including) – Manmad (excluding) section, spanning 350 kilometers.
As per the regulatory filing under SEBI Listing Regulations, the total value of the contract is Rs 30.67 crore (inclusive of 18% GST), and the upgradation is scheduled to be completed within 24 months.
This new order adds to HBL’s robust cumulative order book, which now stands at Rs 4,029.05 crore. The contract has been awarded to HBL as a domestic entity, with no promoter or related party involvement in the transaction.
