NTPC commissions 660 MW unit at North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project

NTPC Ltd announced the successful completion of the trial operation of Unit-3 (660 MW) of its North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (3 x 660 MW). Following the achievement of approved operational norms and necessary clearances, the unit has been added to the company’s installed capacity.

With this addition, NTPC’s total installed capacity now stands at 60,266 MW on a standalone basis and 81,368 MW at the group level.
