RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has been awarded a significant work order worth Rs 11,94,89,669 (including taxes) by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), as per the company’s regulatory filing under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
The contract entails providing Managed Bandwidth Services through MPLS VPN Network on a rental (Opex) model for a period of three years. The services will support live streaming and storage of CCTV video footage at various SECL mines located across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
This is a domestic contract, and the execution is scheduled to be completed by June 5, 2028. RailTel confirmed that the awarding entity has no affiliation with the company’s promoter or promoter group, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
