Copper prices fell by 0.31% to Rs 883.85 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery dropped by Rs 2.75 to Rs 883.85 per kg, with a business volume of 1,962 lots.
Analysts said the decline was primarily due to reduced interest from participants in light of weak market demand.
