Zinc prices declined by 0.56% to Rs 256.20 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders cut down their exposure amid weak demand in the physical market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), June delivery contracts slipped by Rs 1.45 to Rs 256.20 per kg, with a total of 2,416 lots traded.
Analysts attributed the drop to subdued demand from consuming industries and negative cues from the spot market, prompting participants to scale back their positions.
