NLC India subsidiary, MAHAPREIT form JV for Green Energy Projects

NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Ltd, has signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT) to develop green energy projects, the government announced on Thursday.

The agreement was formalized in Mumbai, marking a significant step in NIRL’s strategic expansion and its entry into Maharashtra’s growing renewable energy sector, according to a statement from the Ministry of Coal.
