Laxmi Organic Industries Limited has informed the Exchange about General Updates, In continuation of our earlier disclosure dated October 24, 2025, we wish to inform you of further developments in the ongoing litigation.The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has filed a Special Leave Petition (SLP) before the Hon ble Supreme Court challenging the Final Order dated October 24, 2024, passed by the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) in Appeal No. 245 of 2018 and Appeal No. 376 of 2018.In the interim, despite the APTEL judgment dated October 23, 2024, MSEDCL has continued to levy Wheeling Charges, Wheeling Losses, and Transmission Charges and Losses. As a result, the Company was constrained to file a Contempt Petition before APTEL, seeking appropriate directions against MSEDCL. However, the Contempt Petition was dismissed by APTEL on the ground that it does not possess civil contempt jurisdiction under the Contempt of Courts Act. In the meantime, after the judgment in Contempt Petition was reserved by APTEL, the Company filed Writ Petition (L) No. 14504 of 2025 before the Hon ble Bombay High Court, challenging the continued levy of charges by MSEDCL as illegal. The detailed disclosure as required under the SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023, is enclosed herewith as Annexure A .
