Zinc prices declined by 0.35 percent to 255.95 rupees per kilogram in Wednesday's futures trade as traders cut down their positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, June delivery contracts fell by 90 paise or 0.35 percent to 255.95 rupees per kg, with a volume of 2,526 lots.
Analysts attributed the dip to reduced exposure by participants, driven by lower demand from consuming industries.
