Aluminium futures fell by Rs 1.25 to Rs 239.45 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders reduced their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery dropped RS 1.25 or 0.52% to Rs 239.45 per kg, with 837 lots traded.
Analysts attributed the decline to lower demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to pare down their exposure.
