Copper prices declined by 0.32% to Rs 863.60 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), June delivery contracts slipped by Rs 2.75 to Rs 863.60 per kg, with a trading volume of 6,587 lots.
Analysts said the fall in prices was primarily due to reduced interest from participants, reflecting a weaker demand outlook.
