Aluminium prices slipped by 20 paise to Rs 238.65 per kilogram in futures trade on Friday, as traders reduced their positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery dropped 20 paise, or 0.08%, to Rs 238.65 per kg, with a volume of 3,414 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to reduced demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to scale back their positions.
