Copper prices fell by 0.42% to Rs 860.75 per kilogram in futures trade on Friday, as traders pared down their positions due to subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for June delivery declined by Rs 3.60 to Rs 860.75 per kg, with a trading volume of 5,368 lots.
Analysts said the price movement was largely driven by reduced buying interest amid weak demand conditions.
