Gold prices in the national capital rose by Rs 200 to Rs 98,650 per 10 grams on Thursday, driven by renewed demand from jewellers and stockists, as per the All India Sarafa Association.
Gold with 99.5% purity also saw an increase of Rs 200, settling at ?98,200 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes).
Meanwhile, silver prices surged past the Rs 1 lakh mark, climbing Rs 2,040 to Rs 1,01,200 per kilogram (inclusive of all taxes) in local markets.
