Silver futures climb on renewed demand

Silver prices rose by Rs 475 to Rs 98,720 per kilogram in futures trading on Thursday, driven by increased buying interest from market participants.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for July delivery edged up Rs 475 or 0.48% to Rs 98,720 per kg, with a trading volume of 16,914 lots.

Analysts attributed the price increase to fresh positions taken by traders.
