Silver prices climbed by Rs 537 to Rs 95,855 per kilogram on Monday in futures trade, as traders ramped up their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, July delivery contracts of silver advanced ?537, or 0.56%, to Rs 95,855 per kg, with a business volume of 21,083 lots.
According to analysts, the increase in silver prices was driven by renewed buying interest and the buildup of fresh positions by market participants.
