Zinc prices slipped by 0.04% to Rs 255.05 per kilogram in futures trade on Monday, as traders pared down positions amid weak demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery declined by 10 paise to Rs 255.05 per kg in a volume of 1,474 lots.
Analysts attributed the dip in prices to reduced buying interest from consuming industries, leading participants to cut their exposure.
