Copper futures rose marginally by 0.05% to Rs 857.80 per kilogram on Monday, supported by stronger spot market demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the June delivery contracts of copper gained 40 paise to trade at Rs 857.80 per kg, with a business volume of 4,189 lots.
Analysts said the price uptick was driven by increased buying activity from participants amid improved demand in the physical market.
