Silver prices in futures trade rose slightly by Rs 15 to Rs 96,520 per kilogram on Friday, as participants raised their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery inched up Rs 15 or 0.02% to Rs 96,520 per kg, with a business volume of 20,481 lots.
Analysts noted that the uptick in prices was driven by fresh position-building by market participants.
