Silver prices climbed Rs 1,595 to Rs 96,939 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by renewed buying activity from market participants.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for July delivery rose by Rs 1,595, or 1.67%, reaching Rs 96,939 per kg, with a trading volume of 16,478 lots.
Analysts attributed the price rise to the buildup of fresh positions by traders, reflecting increased demand and positive sentiment in the market.
