Copper futures rose 0.06% to Rs 855.50 per kilogram on Tuesday, driven by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for June delivery gained 55 paise or 0.06%, reaching Rs 855.50 per kg, with a trading volume of 949 lots.
According to analysts, the uptick in copper prices was primarily due to increased buying activity and stronger participation in the market.
