Zinc futures rose by Rs 1.65 to Rs 252.75 per kilogram on Monday, supported by increased demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for June delivery gained Rs 1.65 or 0.66%, trading at Rs 252.75 per kg with a volume of 736 lots.
According to market participants, the price increase was driven by higher demand from consuming industries and fresh positions built by traders, boosting sentiment in the futures market.
