Aluminium prices rose by 60 paise to ?231.50 per kilogram in Friday’s futures trade, as traders built fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for May delivery gained 0.26% to ?231.50 per kg, with a turnover of 5,286 lots.
According to analysts, the price increase was driven by renewed buying from market participants, supported by steady demand from consuming industries.
