A minor fire incident was reported today around 11:30 AM at a garbage heap located in an isolated area near Material Gate No. 9, adjacent to the plantation zone of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited’s (BHEL) Bhopal unit. The blaze was quickly brought under control by the CISF fire team, with timely assistance from municipal fire tenders and the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) team.
The fire was successfully confined to the plantation area, with no damage reported to any machinery, plant infrastructure, or property. Importantly, there were no injuries or casualties.
As a precautionary measure, ongoing monitoring and safety protocols are being upheld by the fire team, and the site will remain under observation throughout the night to ensure complete safety.
