Bharti Airtel announced on Tuesday that it, along with its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom Limited, will acquire the rights to use the entire 400 MHz spectrum owned by Adani Data Networks.
Adani Data Networks (ADNL), a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, had secured the 400 MHz spectrum in the 26 GHz band for approximately ?212 crore during the 2022 spectrum auction.
According to the official statement, Bharti Airtel and Bharti Hexacom have signed definitive agreements with ADNL to acquire usage rights for the spectrum across multiple circles — 100 MHz each in Gujarat and Mumbai, and 50 MHz each in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
