As of March 2025, 61.90% is owned by Indian Promoters and 38.10% by Public.

Top five Promoters holding highest number of shares of Sundaram-Clayton company are VS Trust (Mr Venu Srinivasan, Trustee) (103.23 lakhs shares / 46.83%), Sundaram Finance Holdings Limited (15.14 lakhs shares / 6.87%), Venu Srinivasan (9.67 lakhs shares / 4.38%), Srinivasan Trust (VS Trustee Private Limited, Trustee) (6.20 lakhs shares / 2.81%) and Lakshmi Venu (1.65 lakhs shares / 0.75%).
