As of March 2025, 58.81% is owned by Indian Promoters, 41.05% by Public and 0.13% by Non Promoters-Non Public.

Institutional holds 10.73% (Insurance Companies 1.99%) and Non-Institutional holds 30.29% as Public shareholders.

Top five Promoters holding highest number of shares of Spencers Retail company are Rainbow Investments Limited (396.04 lakhs shares / 43.94%), Stel Holdings Limited (43.96 lakhs shares / 4.88%), Integrated Coal Mining Limited (24.56 lakhs shares / 2.73%), Castor Investments Limited (23.91 lakhs shares / 2.65%) and Quest Capital Markets Limited (17.42 lakhs shares / 1.93%).
