POWERGRID has announced the appointment of Shri Shiv Tapasya Paswan (DIN: 09414240) and Shri Rohit Vaswani (DIN: 00658059) as Non-Official (Independent) Directors on its Board.
As per two separate orders issued by the Ministry of Power (Order No. 25-12/13/2015-PG-Part(2), dated April 16, 2025), both appointments are effective for a period of one year from the date of notification or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
In line with the provisions of Section 161(1) of the Companies Act, 2013, and Article 31A of the Company’s Articles of Association, the Board of Directors of POWERGRID approved their appointments through a circular resolution, with effect from April 16, 2025.
Both Shri Paswan and Shri Vaswani are independent of the existing Directors and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company. They are also not disqualified from holding the position of Director under any SEBI order or other regulatory authority.
