As of March 2025, 56.25% is owned by Indian Promoters and 43.75% by Public.

Institutional holds 13.60% (Insurance Companies 13.44%) and Non-Institutional holds 30.15% as Public shareholders.

Top Promoter holding highest number of shares of MTNL company is President Of India (3543.79 lakhs shares / 56.25%).
