As of March 2025, 88.58% is owned by Indian Promoters and 11.42% by Public.

Institutional holds 2.63% (Insurance Companies 0.22%) and Non-Institutional holds 8.80% as Public shareholders.

Top two Promoters holding highest number of shares of Mangalore Refine company are Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Limited (12553.54 lakhs shares / 71.63%) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (2971.54 lakhs shares / 16.96%).
