Western Carriers (India) Limited (WCIL), a prominent provider of integrated logistics and supply chain solutions, has been awarded a work order worth approximately Rs 230 crore by Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL). The three-year contract involves comprehensive EXIM logistics services for JSL.
Under the agreement, WCIL will manage rail transportation of EXIM containers from various ports to JSL’s plant siding, oversee customs clearance at the Jajpur facility, handle the return of empty and export-laden containers, and manage last-mile delivery to designated container freight stations (CFS) or shipping line yards, along with other related logistics services.
